This course is designed for beginners. It focuses on mechanical and electronics, repair and maintenance of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) professionally. You will lean in-depth knowledge and hands-on techniques in troubleshooting, diagnosing, fault tracing, inspecting, repairing and soldering PCB Circuit Boards. You will learn how to Assemble and integrate from the component level up including wiring, crimping and other electronic assembly skills.

The course is delivered in classroom and on-site at client’s locations. Hands-on training will be provided on fixed-wing, multi-rotor and quadcopter drones.

Course Outline:
How to Assemble and integrate Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) from the component level up
How to assemble and configure RPAS according to mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, standard procedures or other specifications
Basic electrical and electronics concepts and understanding of mechanical system and function of various components
How to Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical and Motherboard components using digital multi-meter and oscilloscope.
How to perform mechanical and electronic parts assembly and disassembly
Detail introduction of mechanical/ electronic components
How to identify defective parts and how to repair or replace them
How to repair or replace mechanical and electrical components such as:
- Gimbal Replacement
- Shell Replacement
- Motor Arm Replacement
- Frame Replacement
- Propellers
- Circuit boards
- Cameras, flexes and other sensitive electrical systems
- Sensors
- Battery
Electronic speed controller (ESC) issues
Compass, calibration and GPS issues.
Motherboard and sensors repair
How to Rework electronics and other complex mechanical assemblies
Motherboard Electronics Components Rework
- Circuit board rework
